Welcome to Reentry Bridge Network

WE BELIEVE that the “nature” of prison has become a timely study of individuals: individuals whose circumstances could have possibly been prevented by society as a whole, and whose recidivism can certainly be affected by community awareness and involvement. We believe these things should be considered in an effort to reduce recidivism in America:

PURPOSE:

Reentry Bridge Network, Inc. (RBN), was created to provide pre and post release development and networking for Prisoners and x-Prisoners in order to effect a smooth, successful transition or bridge into the  community outside the wall. RBN is committed to accomplishing this purpose by providing advancement, development and networking in the areas of: education, community  mentorship, employment, housing, transportation, arts,  holistic health,  family unification, and spirituality.

MISSION:

To effectively reduce recidivism by bridging the communication and education gap between Prisoners and the communities they are being released into.  The methodology is visible and accessible networking centered in  reentry needs.

PURPOSE

The purpose of this website is fundamentally three fold: 1)To creatively generate public funding for prison and reentry programs, 2) To  provide a broader venue to showcase Prisoner talent, and 3) To provide the national viewers a window through which to view the individuals incarcerated inside America’s prisons, allowing shifts in community perception and effectively supporting and promoting  RBN mission statements.

VISION

This original website is a collective collaboration that provides the viewer a window through which to view the talent, intellect and lives of the individuals incarcerated inside America’s prisons. The website contains Prisoner plays, music CDs, art exhibits, discussion groups, interviews, community service, courses, books, and print-on-demand greeting cards.  The membership access fee provides funding for art, music, drama, writing, and academic studies inside prisons.  This RBN website manages the Networking Hub and showcases the many RBN programs and Prisoner projects.  MushfakeToday.org is updated weekly.
